Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Draw a Ride receives, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Effective date: July 14, 2026 · Last updated: July 14, 2026

1. Overview

Draw a Ride (“Draw a Ride,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a web-based creative service where visitors can draw a vehicle and publish it to a shared community road. This Privacy Policy applies to the Draw a Ride website at drawaride.com.

2. Information we receive

Content you choose to publish

When you send a ride to the road, we receive and store the drawing image and the ride name you entered. This content is intended to be public and may be displayed to anyone who visits the service.

Technical information

When you use the website, our hosting and network providers may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as your IP address, request time, browser or device information, requested pages, and error or security event data. We do not ask you to create an account for the current version of Draw a Ride.

Messages to us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

3. How we use information

  • To publish and display rides on the shared road.
  • To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • To prevent abuse, investigate reports, and enforce our Terms.
  • To respond to questions and removal requests.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Public content

Ride drawings and ride names are public after you select “Send to Road.” Do not include personal information, private messages, contact details, or images you do not want others to see. Other visitors may view, save, or share public content using their device or the service’s sharing features.

5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The current service does not require an account and does not use cookies for sign-in. The current version may include reserved advertising spaces, but those placeholders do not by themselves place advertising cookies. If we add analytics, advertising technology, or other optional tools that materially change how information is handled, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choices required by applicable law.

6. Service providers

We use service providers to host the website, store ride data and images, deliver network traffic, and help maintain availability and security. These providers process information on our behalf to provide their services. We may also disclose information if required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the service, our visitors, or others.

7. Retention

We keep published ride content for as long as it remains part of the community road or as reasonably needed to operate and moderate the service. Technical logs are retained according to our providers’ settings and operational needs. Emails and report records may be kept as needed to respond, document an action, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.

8. Your choices and requests

You can choose not to publish a drawing. A ride created on your current device can be deleted from its Gallery card while that device still holds its private deletion key. Anyone can report a visible ride from the Gallery. For older rides or other removal requests, email hello@drawaride.com with the ride name and enough detail to identify it. Because the current service does not use user accounts, we may ask for additional context to evaluate whether you created the ride or have another valid basis for the request.

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding personal information. You may contact us to make a request. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

9. Children’s privacy

Draw a Ride is designed to be simple and family-friendly, but it does not knowingly ask children to submit contact details or other personal information. Children should use the service with permission and guidance from a parent or guardian. Ride names and drawings should never contain a child’s real name, school, address, contact information, or other identifying details. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove it.

10. International use

Draw a Ride is available on the internet and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Data protection rules may differ between locations.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. We will post the revised version here and change the effective or last-updated date. Material changes may also be highlighted on the website when appropriate.

12. Contact

Questions, privacy requests, and removal requests can be sent to hello@drawaride.com.
